CropLife Zimbabwe places great importance on the safe and effective use of all types of pesticides. In recognition of this, and to support various compliance programmes for farmers, regular face-to-face trainings are held. These cover the choice, transport, storage, handling, application and disposal of pesticides.
The courses are presented by either our Trained Trainers or competent technical staff from member companies.
The target group of trainees includes:
- Individual farmers
- Farm managers and supervisors from individual farms or corporate farms
- Spray operators
- Horticulture export growers as part of GLOBALGAP compliance
- Government extension staff
